News from the
Yuba County Republican Party

At its May meeting CRP:

  •  Unanimously adopted a resolution opposing SB1437.   SB 1437 requires textbooks to highlight the so- called positive contributions of homosexual and transgender individuals to society and would prevent textbooks, teaching materials, instruction, and “school- sponsored activities” from reflecting adversely upon persons based on their sexual orientation or actual or perceived gender.

  • Unanimously adopted a resolution opposing Hal Stockers proposal for limiting Campaign funding in Yuba County elections. This Incumbent Protection Ordinance would take away the First Amendment Right of Free Speech from individuals and Conservative Organizations, such as the National Rifle Association, California Right to Life, Capitol Resource Institute and The California Republican Assembly , who are fighting to defend our conservative values and Constitutional Rights.
